SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Manuscripts submitted in one copy (hard copy), typed with Times New Roman-12 pt and 1.5 spacing on A4 paper not exceeding 20 pages (including figures and appendix). Manuscripts in an electronic file copy (soft copy) of MS-Word format copied to a CD are also required and should be submitted together with hard copy to:

FORMAT AND STYLE

Manuscripts submitted to JURNAL ILMIAH SEMESTA TEKNIKA must conform to required format and style. The title of a manuscript should be concise and descriptive not exceeding 15 words. Abstract within 200 to 250 words describing the content of manuscript should not written in English. Abstract should be supplied with 3 to 6 keywords.

In general, the contents should comprise of INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH METHOD, RESULT AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, REFERENCES and APPENDIX (if any).

All figures, tables, flow charts, illustrations and graphs must be labeled and supplied on pages separate from the text. All figures, flow charts, illustrations and graphs must be referred to and numbered serial as FIGURE. Title of TABLE must be placed above the table and title of FIGURE is written below the figure.

References in the text should be denoted by giving the name(s) of author(s) followed by the year of publication {for example: … seismic method (Rosyidi & Nayan 2006) or … as reported by Rosyidi et al. (2008), that the method …}. All references cited in the text must appear in the REFERENCES. All references listed in REFERENCES must conform to the APA Reference Style Guide (http://library.nmu.edu/redirects/apapdf.htm). The references style adopted should be consistent throughout the manuscript.

REVIEW PROCESS AND COPYRIGHT

Author has fully responsibility to his/her submitted manuscript does not infringe any existing copyright of other publications. Author should provide the evidence of approval or permission if reproducing or adapting the copyrighted materials. Author will be provided with two complimentary copy of scientific journal of SEMESTA TEKNIKA which the manuscript appears after publication.
